STUDY IN KOREA
Korean is one of several international languages offered by the Language Centre and can be taken either as a breadth module or as a six-module minor. The modules are mapped to the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR) with students at Level Six exiting at CEFR 2.1 (an early Upper Intermediate level).

koreanEach semester around 170 students enrol in Korean modules and many take up opportunities to visit and / or study in Korea under either the UBD Exchange Program or the Korean Government Scholarship program.

Korean is a popular language choice for young Bruneian students with the Korean Culture Club being one of the most active clubs at Universiti Brunei Darussalam. Activities are organised every two weeks and members often visit Korean Clubs at other tertiary institutions to lend support and join in community activities.
