Filipino Language Modules

UBD students can study up to six units of Filipino which they can build to a minor as part of their degree program. Currently the Filipino modules are in the process of being benchmarked to the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR). This will ensure that the modules continue to be in keeping with best practice and international standards

Filipino Classroom Activities

Students studying Filipino gave presentations on the topic ‘My House’ in which they described their house using a range of vocabulary to talk about their furniture and the different rooms and areas. The activity also challenged them to appropriately use prepositions of place and direction and a range of adjectives.
