WHAT IS IT?
The UBD-EPT helps candidates demonstrate their proficiency level in English. It is an alternative to tests such as TOEFL, IELTS, GCSE and GCE O-Level.
WHAT DOES THE UBD-EPT TEST?
The test takes approximately 3.5 to 4 hours and examines the four skills:
| SKILL | TEST FORMAT |
| SPEAKING | Converse with examiner on familiar topics as well as more difficult theoretical topics. |
| LISTENING | Complete information by listening to routine transactions and lectures. |
| READING | Read different length texts to complete information on general as well as university-relevant topics. |
| WRITING | Write a general essay on a contemporary topic and a short report in response to visual information. |
